A valuation band and a recommendation come back, usually within a day. There is no fee and no obligation to sell; roughly two in five valuations end with advice to keep the watch. If you are buying, send the reference you are looking for instead.
What to send
- The reference numberEngraved between the lugs or on the papers. If you cannot find it, send the model name and a clear caseback photograph and the house will identify it.
- Four photographsDial straight on, caseback, a side profile, and a shot of any box, papers, receipt or service records. Natural light, no filter.
- Your locationRough is fine. It sets up insured collection if you decide to proceed — the watch never travels against a promise.
- What you wantTo sell, to acquire a specific reference, or simply to know what a watch is worth. All three start the same way.
What happens next
A band and a recommendation come back, usually within a day, in writing. If selling is the right decision the house sets out the route — brokered private sale to collectors, settled through escrow — and what it will realistically achieve. If it is not, you are told why, before any agreement exists. Nothing is listed, collected or committed until you say so.
